FormStore - Storing Formulation Information
Storing data on your formulations is a crucial first step in making sure the information is available for data mining and modeling, and ensures that it is preserved for future use. Too often in the past, though, information about ingredients and processing conditions had to be stored separately from information on formulations. An investment in an expensive bespoke system was often the only option available.FormStore provides a fully-relational database framework in which information about formulations can be stored and queried. Information about ingredients and processing conditions can also be saved, thereby allowing you to answer queries like: What formulations have I done that contain specific ingredients? What formulations have values of my desired property that lie within a specific range? What formulations have active ingredients with a specific value for a property of interest (for example, molecular weights within a certain range)? Data can be input easily using a 'notebook' style layout. Various levels of permission can be granted to different users, from read-only to administrator. Data can be exported in a format which is completely compatible with INForm and FormRules, so that data mining and modeling can be undertaken with maximum efficiency. View a PowerPoint presentation showing the capabilities, with some screenshots, here.
