FormData - Strategies for Data Collection

INForm

Experiments can be costly to perform, so you need an efficient strategy for obtaining maximum information from the minimum number of experiments, cutting the wastage associated with trial-and-error experimentation. FormData has been designed with this in mind.

FormData is specifically aimed at product formulation, and includes experimental designs that apply to both process and mixture variables. For ‘unconstrained’ factors, FormData has

  • ·Full and fractional factorial designs, including the new Balanced Density Mapping of Plumb and Rowe
  • Central composite designs
  • Box-Behnken designs
  • Random designs
  • Simplex designs

while for mixture or ‘constrained’ designs, it has
  • Simplex Lattice designs
  • Simplex Centroid designs


FormData is fully Windows-compatible, and results are stored as tab-delimited text, making them easy to import into your spreadsheet and modelling software. FormData is an ideal companion for INForm and FormRules, helping you to collect data that can be modelled effectively.
