FormRules Info

Hardware requirements: PC running Windows NT, 2000 or XP. Installation on Windows 95 and Windows 98 is also possible. At least 64 MB memory is essential; for larger problems, more is required. FormRules is fully Windows compatible, with inputs and outputs done through spreadsheet-enabled workscreens.

FormRules is available in standalone or networkable versions. Software Licence management is handled via a software Key that can be installed on a server for networked applications, and which can be moved (via a floppy disk) from machine to machine. If the licence is in use, then waiting users are told that there is a queue, and they can wait for the licence to become free - thereby enabling several users to share one network-enabled licence.

FormRules can treat problems with up to 150 variables (inputs & outputs).

To develop its models, FormRules uses neurofuzzy logic backed by statistical validation. The program has been tailored to be used by formulators themselves, and no special artificial intelligence/neural computing expertise is required.
